  I visited the store on Monday 19th September to ask for information on the upgrade programme I have with O2. My tariff is O2 Refresh Unlimited with an offer to "upgrade on us" after one year. I started the tariff, which is one of the most expensive, specifically because it sounded very like "upgrade on us" means you will get your next upgrade at no cost (while still paying the airtime monthly tariff. I wanted advice, but was told by the youth at the door that "of course no-one is going to hand you a £720 phone for nothing" and that indeed the "special offer" on this tariff includes having to pay the full cost of the next phone. OK, I can accept that with perhaps a bit more explanation, but he was deliberately rude and could easily (with a bit of training) have found a better way with words and attitude to actually help a long-term loyal customer. He was no longer interested in me after that, wanting to see the next in queue, so I said "I did think it might not be such a great offer", to which I heard aimed at my back as I left, "no worries". I think he might have been to Australia.
