  The very expensive three piece leather suite that I bought from Harvey's a few years ago was the worst buy that I have ever made. The settee is designed in a way where the settee cushions are attached to the sofa and cannot be removed or rotated. This was very poorly designed, as it has meant that the cushions have started to wear down in a lopsided manner, so that the only way of sitting comfortably is to sit in the middle. If I try to sit on one side of the settee, then my seating position is tilted to one side, leading to real back-ache due to sitting in lopsided manner. Whilst the settee seemed great to start with, it has only been with time that I have come to realise what a very poorly designed settee it was. I would not have been able to realise this without the passage of time. Warning to all those choosing to buy a settee - make sure you get one where the cushions are fully removable and can be rotated. The reason they are designing them as fixed immovable cushions is so that they save on the leather that would be need to cover both sides of a removable cushion. Do not buy fixed/attached ones, as within a couple of years you will be really uncomfortable sitting to one side. Unless you are the only one using the settee and do not need to share seating with anyone else - otherwise only opt for removable seating cushions so they can be rotated. .
